Glasslight

Know what to watch next.

Glasslight keeps a queue of the shows and movies you want to watch, remembers which episode you're up to, and can plan an evening around the time you have.

  1. The Together list. Now holds Paddington in Peru, Abbott Elementary with season 4 episode 6 up next, and Bluey with season 2 episode 9 up next, each showing where it's streaming.
  2. Abbott Elementary's page: the next episode, S4 E6 "The Deli", availability on 8 services, ratings and the cast.
  3. Watch Shuffle with 1 hour 30 minutes available, proposing an episode of Bluey and Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
  4. Paddington in Peru's page: available on 7 services, with the cast list.

Queue

Sort titles into Now, Soon and Later, and keep separate lists for what you watch on your own and together.

Progress

Track movies, seasons and single episodes. Glasslight shows the next episode for each series, and a rewatch doesn't overwrite your first time through.

Watch Shuffle

Say how long you have. Watch Shuffle picks unwatched movies and released episodes from your queue that fit the time.

Details

Search for shows, movies and people, see the cast and crew, and check which of your streaming services has a title in your region.

Notes and tags

Note who recommended something, or tag titles to group them across lists.

Widgets and sharing

Put a list on your Home Screen, or share one through iCloud with the people you watch with.

Alerts and import

Get a notification when a new episode comes out or a title arrives on one of your services. Bring your watched films over from a Letterboxd export.

Good to know

  • Glasslight doesn't play anything; it tracks what you watch.
  • Streaming availability depends on your region and services, and can change.
  • Search and new details need an internet connection. iCloud lists need an Apple Account.

Privacy

Your lists, progress, notes and settings are stored on your device, and iCloud keeps them in sync. People you invite can see a shared list. Searches and title lookups go to Glasslight's metadata service, with your region and chosen streaming services.
