Driftbloom
Swipe. The ocean follows.
Each swipe sends a current through the water. Every jellyfish drifts one cell with it, and matching ones merge into the next life stage until they bloom. There's no timer.
Merging
Two matching jellyfish that meet in the direction of the current merge: Wisp into Veil, Veil into Chime, and on through Peal, Crown and Halo to a Bloom, which clears the water around it.
Afterblooms
Each Bloom leaves glowing terrain for the rest of the dive. Merge beside it to fill its three chambers, and it releases a wave of light.
Eddies and Ebb
Tidal Eddies show which way they'll turn a move before they do. Some Blooms grant an Ebb, which rewinds one current.
Homecoming
When the water stills, the light you released drifts back and settles into shoals you can count. That's your score.
Sound
The music is generated from the field, so every merge, ripple and homecoming plays in tune.
Leaderboards
Optional Game Center leaderboards for your best dives and lifetime totals, drawn as shoals.
Try it on TestFlight.

Good to know
- Free, with no ads or in-app purchases.
- No account needed, and it plays offline. A dive resumes where you left it.
- Supports VoiceOver and Reduce Motion, and stages never rely on color alone.
Privacy
Your dives, progress and settings stay on your device. Driftbloom can use your device's motion to tilt the water. If you use Game Center, Apple handles your player ID and scores.
